Nokia is the best mobile company after Apple, however Apple's products are too much expensive, Nokia is used in a large quantity in all over the world. Nokia have its own Operating System, they use different versions on different mobile devices. S40, S60 are their OS, S60 is used on Symbian Mobile Devices whereas S40 used on normal devices which are less user friendly, which means you cannot customize it further.
S60 versions of Nokia is called Symbian Phones, they are more customizable and have lot of applications.
Android is worlds most useable mobile operating system. Android OS is the property of Google, which is worlds No. 1 search engine as well as their other products. Androidshave millions of applications and its most user friendly, million of social websites are developed their applications for Android to access users to their social websites through mobile devices. Million of game developers are working to make games forandroids, many of mobile companies do partnership with Google and use their Operating System, like HTC, Samsung etc. But Nokia is using their own OS thats why most of users doesn't like Nokia because of low quality apps and games and have some missing functions.
You can now use Android in Nokia Mobile (Model: N9). This model is released June 2011, and have Symbian MeeGo OS which is similar to Symbian Belle. N9 owners are get to enjoy the Android Experiences in their device, that too in their separate partition. Before going to steps further please read the note carefully.

Note:
- This will not effected in MeeGo OS, which is pre-installed on Nokia N9. However this OS will be installed in separate partition.
- For safety purpose, please take backup of your device.
- This version of Android is Alpha version, might contain some bugs as well.
Required things:
Steps to install Android on Nokia n9:
Step 1: Go to the Mobile Settings> Security> Device Lock> Auto Lock, and turn OFF auto lock.
Step 2: Download the WinFlasher Program and install it in your PC.
Step 3: Now download NaviFirm, and Extract it anywhere in your PC.
Step 4: Open the NaviFirm, Select the Nokia n9 from the list on the far Left, and then select 30.2012.7.1 from the second list, now type your Mobile Product code in the search box of third list.
Step 4: Select your Product Code model from the third list. Once selected, click on Unmark all at the top and mark only one that starts with DFL61 and has the wordLEGACY in it.
Step 5: Unmark the "Use ProductCode as final path", and on "Browse" and select the directory where you installed Flasher [C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher\].
Step 6: Now download zImage Kernel File and save it in root folder where you installed Flasher [C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher\].
Step 7: Open Command Prompt and type the following code.
Step 9: If you did steps correctly, you will see the success message in Command Prompt.
Step 10: Now its turn to install Sillyboot, hence disconnect to phone from computer and turn it ON.
Step 11: Now go to Settings> Security> Developer Mode and turn it ON. Device will be restarted, agree to all prompts.
Step 11: Again, connect the phone to the Computer and select the USB Storage Mode for transferring the files. Download Sillyboot, and paste the file to the Nokia N9 directory.
Step 12: Now Unplug the Phone from computer and Open "Terminal" on Mobile.
Step 13: Type the following command into it, put the password "rootme" when asked.
Step 14: Now its turn to install Android Ice Cream Sandwich, download ICS ROM.
Step 15: Again, connect phone to Computer using USB Mass Storage Mode and Copy the downloaded file (ICS ROM) to the Nokia N9.
Step 16: Disconnect the phone from the PC, Open "Terminal" again and type following command in it and hit Enter. Put the password "rootme" if asked.
When you typed correctly, flashing will start.
Step 17: Turn off the Mobile and Switch ON again. When prompted, hit the Volume Up button to boot into the “alternative OS” and wait a while as it is booting for the first time.
Step 18: When your Device boots into Android, then go to Settings > Display > Sleep and change the sleep time to 30 Minutes.
To Switch back to MeeGo OS (Default), just restart the device. And if you want to boot with Android just follow the Step 17.

Step 9: If you did steps correctly, you will see the success message in Command Prompt.
